What you can do

Even the biggest tournaments, under control

Groups, finals and placement matches

The tournament formats clubs actually use, even in several stages, for a weekend of matches or a memorial over several days.

A schedule in minutes

Times, pitches and changing rooms arrive already organised, even when there are dozens of matches and shared pitches.

Changes without surprises

Change what you need and you see straight away if something no longer adds up, before the teams do.

Several age groups together

Several age groups in the same tournament, each with its own format and match length, on the same pitches and without clashes.

Results and standings

Standings updated as you go, and knockout stages that take shape while the tournament is still running.

A programme to share

Match programme, bracket and changing room sheet to print or to send to visiting teams with a link that is always up to date.

When a tournament grows, spreadsheets are no longer enough

While the teams are few, a tournament can be held together with a spreadsheet and a few phone calls. When they become dozens, with more than one age group and more than one day of play, every change drags everything else along with it: a kick-off moved, a pitch that is no longer available, a visiting team running late, a changing room to reassign. The programme changes several times, versions multiply across group chats, and the club office spends the tournament on the phone instead of by the pitch.

That is where you see the difference between a club that chases its tournament and one that runs it.

What changes with TeamPilot

  • Fewer hours of preparation: the schedule arrives already organised, and your time goes to the decisions that matter.
  • Fewer mistakes: teams, pitches and changing rooms stay consistent even when you change something at the last minute.
  • One version of the programme: everyone taking part always sees the latest one, with no different files going around.
  • The tournament within the season: your teams’ matches go into the club calendar, next to the rest of the everyday work.
  • A professional image: tidy programmes and brackets, to print or to share, for visiting teams and for families.

From a weekend with several age groups to a memorial over several days, TeamPilot handles the numbers of the most demanding tournaments. Tournament planning is included in the Pro plan, up to four tournaments per season, and without limits in Premium: compare them on the pricing page, and find the rest of the software among the features. Frequently asked questions

Questions about tournaments

What clubs that organise tournaments ask us most often.

The formats most used in football tournaments: round-robin groups, groups followed by knockout stages, straight knockout, placement matches, play-offs and play-outs. Stages can be combined, and in a tournament with several age groups each one can have its own format. If your tournament has a particular structure, tell us about it: we will look at it together during the demo.

Yes, it is the most common case. Visiting teams take part under their own name, even when a club brings more than one, and they are organised just like yours. They do not need an account to receive the programme. The matches of your own teams go into the club calendar, where your coaches find them alongside the rest of the season.

Yes. The proposed schedule is a starting point and you can change it however you like, even once the tournament has begun. If a change creates a problem you notice straight away, before a team finds out on the pitch, and whatever you have already arranged stays as it is. The decisions remain yours; the repetitive work is done by the software.

Yes. The match programme, the bracket with the standings and the changing room sheet can be printed or sent with a link, which visiting teams open on their phone without signing up. The link stays the same even when you change something: everyone always sees the latest version, and your club comes across as well organised.
